PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the continuity of the control operation by improving the accuracy of detecting a fault by accurately discriminating an instantaneous power interruption with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises waveform shaping means 3 for converting an AC wave rectified by rectifying means 1 into a rectangular wave, timer counting means 5 for source inputting the rising signal of the rectangular wave detected by rise signal detecting means 4, and instantaneous power interruption level discriminating means 7 for inputting the signal interval of the rectangular wave measured by rise signal interval detecting means 6, and selectively controls a fan driver 16, a heater 10 and a compressor driver 13 in response to the level by the means 7. |
