The assembly has a turbo machine (1), a cooler (2) and a support frame (3). The cooler has a horizontal cooling element (5) and frame segments (4) are arranged at a distance from each other in longitudinal direction of the horizontal cooling element and have contact points (6) for supporting the assembly on a ground surface or a base frame (7) on a lower side. The cooling element is fixed on the frame segments by flexible sections (9) for accommodating thermal expansions of the cooling element.
