A lockable steering wheel cover comprises at least two housing portions (11, 12) pivoted together for relative rotation between a first position in which the housing portions define a generally circular housing which covers the steering wheel and has an inwardly turned edge defining an internal peripheral channel (19) for accommodating the rim (22) of the steering wheel, and a second position in which the housing portions are nested within one another sufficiently to permit mounting the cover on and removing the cover from the steering wheel.
