In a rolling bearing with a sensor (7) to sense operating states, the sensor housing (8) is provided with at least one region (11) of lesser thickness, and the connecting cable (13) of the sensor is routed out of the thicker part of the housing in the circumferential direction. This ensures that the bearing can be used where installation space is constricted, and that the cable has no tight bending radii. The sensor housing may be integrated into the bearing or separate therefrom.
