Flooring element especially paving blocks

The paving block has sides with projections and recesses, for connecting with neighbouring blocks. Two opposite sides (6, 8) are formed for an H or trapezoidal connection, and the other two opposite sides (7, 9) are formed for a zig-zag-shaped connection. The two first sides of the block may have a first section (10) extending in direction of a first axis, and three further sections (11, 12, 13) forming a trapezoidal projection. The two second sides may be formed by several relatively angular sections (14, 15, 16).
