The hook-housing (12) has a closable side opening and a lateral area of a cast cylindrical body. The housing is in segments having a flat plane outside the gravitational axis. The housing has a C-shaped top part (20) with a curved chain link pocket for the end link (30) of the load chain, and a forked holder-gap for the next-to-last chain link of the load chain. A support part has a mounting opening for the pivot mounted hook shaft (5), and a bottom part (16) with a U-shaped assembly groove for a support disc (11) aiming to mount an axial ball bearing (9).
