The present invention provides a composite support post (1) suitable for use in a partition wall system and comprising an elongate body having a plurality of angularly spaced apart longitudinally and radially extending panel mounting engagement means (6) formed and arranged for mounting directly or indirectly, wall panels of the partition wall system. The post (1) is comprised by first and second inter-engaging elongate post elements (2, 4) each having a respective elongate body portion (5) and a respective said engagement means (6). The body portions (5) have angularly extending overlapping portions (12, 14) formed and arranged so as to permit relative angular displacement of the post elements (2, 4) so that the angular spacing of the engagement means (6) around said post (1) may be varied. |
