The invention relates to a process for production of a colostral milk product from which casein has been removed, colostrum being de-fatted and acidified in such a manner that casein remains in solution and ultrafiltration is carried out so as to obtain an exclusion molecular weight of at least 10<6> Da. The colostral milk product obtained according to the invention is particularly suitable to be used as an additive for drugs, food supplements, beverages, baby food, animal food, in the form of beverages in intensive sport for muscle protection or for reducing the muscular recovery phase and for the prevention and treatment of bacterial, viral and mycotic infections.
