The board is rigid and has a flat plate (1) whose front part is folded (1/2) through a right angle, to hold the sand under the plate. The fold can be adapted to any type of sand. The foot is held on the board by a flexible sheath (2). The foot is put into the sheath which is fixed to the plate by two bars (3). A strap (4) is passed behind the foot and round the ankle. It is fixed to a stirrup (5) by a snap hook (6) and the stirrup is fixed to the plate.
