Cleaning system for magnetic heads of card readers

The cleaning unit has a carrier (1) in the form of a piece of plastic of the same format as a credit card. Part of the card is covered with a suitable material (2) that is effective in cleaning the magnetic heads of the card reader.The material is secured along a seam line. The card is inserted into the reader in the normal way (B) of a credit card and passes across the heads. The card is less in width than the entry slot of the reader allowing a sideways movement (A) and so improves the cleaning process
