The roller bearing for a rotating shaft (24), is of the bearing type made up of a distinct and interchangeable assembly provided to be equipped to the base frame of an existing structure. The bearing is made up of a body designed to receive a roller bearing and a seal, and being equipped with fixing screws, that are reversible, onto the base frame. The body is composed of a prismatic monoblock cage (2) bored out axially (4) to receive the roller bearing (6) and two rings (8,10 and 12,14) laterally removable fitted on one side and the other of the cage (2) and each one provided with grooves (16,18) to receive a sealing piece (20).
