DECANTER TYPE CENTRIFUGE EQUIPPED WITH DISCHARGE PORT REGULATING CONTROL STRUCTURE AND ITS OPERATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decanter type centrifuge constituted so as to regulate a cake discharge speed to control moisture in a cake. SOLUTION: The control structure is provided with a bowl 12 having a plurality of cake discharge ports 18a arranged to one end thereof and equipped with a liquid phase discharge port 20. The bowl can be rotated centering around a longitudinal axial line 16 and the discharge ports are positioned within the plane P1 turned toward a cross-sectional direction and has a cylindrical part 44 and a beach part 12. A conveyor 14 is positioned inside the bowl freely rotatable at angular velocity different from the angle-of-rotation angle of the bowl. The conveyor contains a spiral screw 24 scrolling an accumulated cake solid layer toward the cake discharge ports along the inner surface of the bowl. A supply element 10 sending a supplied slurry into the pool inside the bowl extends to the bowl and the conveyor.
