Grafting of a substituted difluoromethyl group on to a compound with an electrophilic function, comprises contacting the compound with an electrophilic function and a nucleophilic reactant comprising a) a fluorocarboxylic acid of formula (1) Ea-CF2-COOH partly salified by an organic or mineral cation; and b) a polar aprotic solvent. Then the reaction mixture is irradiated with microwaves. Ea = electron attractive atom or group.
