<p>The invention refers to the so-called bridge link for chains for tyre protection and/or protection against tyre sliding. The mentioned link consists of a body with at least one connection hole for the other two links of the chain to be connected to the bridge link, and a wearing area which has at least two deepenings in the longitudinal direction of the link body, lying at a distance one beside another on the sides of the link body.
