The grinding container (2) has an inlet pipe (10) and a separate outlet pipe (11) for the ground material which are arranged tangential relative to the outer rotary circle (12) of the rotor (9) inside the container. A sieve plate (13,14) is mounted at the connecting point of the outlet pipe with the container and can be formed curved like the container. One pipe can be set axially spaced from one container end wall (15) and the other pipe axially spaced from the other end wall (16). The rotor shaft is mounted on one side with a floating bearing (17).
