The packaging has a blank (1) of semi-rigid material having a base (2) and several side faces (3-6). It has two flaps (4,6) which are opposed and each has two lateral cheeks (13-16) which cover, in the closed position of the packaging, the adjacent sides (3,5) of each flap. The flaps can have locking formations (33-36) which cooperate to hold them in position where their cheeks respectively cover the adjacent sides of each flap. The locking formations can include openings (33-36) formed adjacent to the cheeks and receiving a cord.
