Disclosed is a sun visor with variable surface. According to the light intensity, the area can be adjusted by sliding in or out the auxiliary visor from the main visor. The device comprises a hinge(1) that adjusts the angle of the visor, a recess in the main visor(2), an auxiliary visor(4) which slides into the recess(3), pairs of hinged holders(5,5') with springs installed in the auxiliary visor at the both ends of the upper portion, springs(6) that elongate to the inner wall of the main visor and a hinge(7) that enables the rotational assembly of the auxiliary visor. The invention increases the efficiency of the sun visor by varying the area of the sun visor according to the intensity of light.
