Absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, panty liners, and incontinence pads are disclosed that have a main body portion with extensible regions therein. In one embodiment, the absorbent article is a sanitary napkin that has portions that are able to move relative to each other and articulate about flexible and extensible portions so that the product has an overall extensibility.
