PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely control an air-fuel ratio to a required air-fuel ratio by driving an injector so that a valve is opened over an intake stroke and a compression stroke for a specific time when a purge influence condition, in which a fuel injecting time by means of the injector becomes the predetermined time or less during an action of a purge controller, is detected. SOLUTION: A control circuit 20 determines whether purge fuel is supplied or not, after a fuel injection time TP is computed. That is, it is determined that purge fuel supply is carried out while a purge solenoid valve 17 is driven to be opened, and then, it is determined whether the computed air-fuel ratio correction coefficient is the predetermined value or less. If the air-fuel ratio coefficient is the predetermined value or less, it is determined whether a fuel cut flag F is 1 or not, and if F equals to zero, a fuel injection time TP is doubled and injection timing is set at the end of the intake stroke. By means of the control circuit 20, a position detection signal is ignored once in twice, so that a drive pulse signal is generated once in eight strokes, and fuel equivalent to 2×TP is jetted.
