The top side of the base plate (1) slopes down outwards or sideways like a ramp either side of a centre strip (8). The centre strip extends in the longitudinal direction of the shoe, supports the shoe sole and is narrower than foot width. At the side of the centre strip are cushions (10) of elastically deformable shock-absorbing material supporting the shoe sole. The cushions are interchangeable. Projection (11) along the edges of the centre strip engage in corresponding recesses in the shoe sole.
