The cable bushing comprises a sheath-like main body (4) which consists of at least one inner sleeve (5) and at least one outer sleeve (6). The inner sleeve is formed from a fibrous plastic material, preferably fiber-glass, and the outer sleeve comprises portions of fiber-glass plastic material, hardened plastic material, a curing agent, as well as a water-absorbent inorganic additive.
