A lamp (24), illuminating the boot interior, is supplied through a switch operated by opening the boot lid, and shines through a lens (26) set in the boot lining (12). The lamp housing (22) adjoins a storage compartment (10) provided for, e.g. tools and equipment, and an opening (30) is left in the common wall (28) so that part of the lamp light can illuminate the compartment interior. Access to the compartment is through a door (14), hinged at the bottom (16), which has a flap at the top (32) that covers the partition opening (30) when the door is closed. Opt., this opening is provided with a glass or lens. |
