FIELD: metallurgy, namely separation of metal and slag at outlet of converter or other steel melting aggregate. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes rotary lever with nozzle mounted on rotation axle and arranged on support near outlet opening of converter. Said rotary lever is in the form of pipe for supplying closing gas. Mechanism for centering nozzle in outlet opening is in the form of gasodynamic head placed in output of said nozzle with possibility of rotation around its axle. Axes of gasodynamic head and nozzle are arranged eccentrically one relative to another. Said support has hole that is aligned with opening of axle when said nozzle is placed in outlet opening. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, simplified structure of apparatus, lowered consumption of closing gas. 3 dwg
