FIELD: nondestructive testing of profile of structures of pipes, holes and pipe-lines. SUBSTANCE: proposed process of evaluation of profile of pipe during ultrasonic test involves ultrasonic scanning of wall of pipe filled with liquid , measurement of time of passage of ultrasound to reflecting sections of wall, determination of velocity of ultrasound and coordinates of center of gravity of pipe profile, plotting of real profile of pipe with correction of measured information. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of process.
