A ferroelectric liquid crystal projector screen is described which uses a fluorescent screen that includes a light source that emits light of a predetermined wave length, a first condensation lens to convert the radiated light of the light source to bundles of light; a polarization bundle of light separator to select a predetermined directional light in the incident light which passes through the first condensation lens and to polarize the light; a on/off ferroelectric liquid crystal shutter operated in accordance with the polarization operation of the polarization bundle of light separator. The ferroelectric liquid crystal shutter comprises a reflection layer joined to the rear part and RAM devices joined on each pixel of the ferroelectric liquid crystal screen (FLC); an optical system to enlargen a predetermined relation to a reflected light of the ferroelectric liquid crystal shutter; and a fluorescent screen of a fluorescent material which irradiates through light, passing through the optical system to a predetermined wave length.
