PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric energy consumption and noise by a method wherein the operation of a compressor is started when a refrigerating chamber temperature is higher than a cut-on temperature while the operation of a ventilating fan is started, only when the refrigerating chamber temperature is higher than the cut-on temperature and the compressor is operated. SOLUTION: In case of operation of a freezing refrigerator, the operation of a compressor is started by a control unit 13 when a freezing chamber temperature, detected by a temperature detecting means 12, has become higher than a set temperature (cut-on temperature) and is stopped when the same temperature has become lower than the set temperature, whereby a temperature in a refrigerator is maintained at a given temperature. However, the operation of a ventilation fan 8 is not synchronized with the on/off of the compressor 5 and the operation of the fan 8 is started only when a refrigerating chamber temperature is higher than a set temperature tp1, and the operation is continued until the temperature becomes lower than tp2 while the fan 8 is controlled so as not to be operated when the compressor is stopped and, thus, the temperature of the refrigerating chamber is maintained constant. Thus, wasteful operation of the ventilating fan 8 is restrained to contrive electricity-saving and the reducing of noise. |
