Method for training gun operating teams, system for conducting the method and use of the system. At least two guns (12, 12') are used for firing for practice purposes. Each gun (12, 12') has a deactivation device, which may be remotely controlled and is activated by the gun operating team at a gun (12') prior to operation of the shot release device without the gun operating team being aware of it. Only one projectile (16) is fired from the gun (12) upon subsequent operation of the missile release device. When using the system for training gun operating teams, the actual miss hit of the gun (12) and the imaginary miss hit of the deactivated gun (12') are displayed.
