<p>The optical modulation device (3) is included in an interferometer and synchronisation devices (10) for the solitons signals to be regenerated and for the optical clock function in terms of the intensity of the output signal of the interferometer. The modulation device is of the phase modulating type. The modulation device is of the semiconductor type and is for optical modulation distributed preferably in the transmission fibre (1) of the transmission system. The interferometer is of the "Sagnac" (RTM) type, preferably a non-linear loop mirror. It incorporates polarisation maintenance fibre. The synchronisation devices (10) adjust the phase of the clock signal so as to maximise the intensity of the output signal of the interferometer.</p> |
