PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of controlling sensitivity in a wide range to obtain a superior image by using as a charge generator a specified N-type oxotitanium phthalocyanine. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor uses the N-type oxotitanium phthalocyanine N-TiOPc having characteristic high absorption peaks at 1332±2 cm<-1> , 1074±2 cm<-1> , 962±2 cm<-1> , and 783±2 cm<-1> in an infrared absorption spectra, and a mixture of N-TiOPc and anε-type copper phthalocyanineε-CuPc is used for the charge generating layer 12 and a mixing ratio of N-TiOPc andε-CuPc is changed to control sensitivity in a wide range, thus permitting the electrophotographic photoreceptor to form superior images in various electrophotographic apparatuses.
