PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce storage capacity in a ROM, etc., by calculating distances between recognition elements and a parental node, respectively storing them, respectively calculating the distances between a child node that the distance of the parental node is small and the recognition element and storing them. SOLUTION: The similar distances of twenty pieces of parental nodes of the tree structure data are calculated successively by a parental distance calculation means 27 for respective plural generated continuous recognition elements. Since two pieces of parental nodes that this distance is small are selected by a parental node selection means 28, the distances for the recognition elements of six pieces of child nodes connected three pieces each for selected two pieces of parental nodes are calculated successively by a child distance calculation means 29. In such a manner, the distances of twenty pieces of parental nodes and the distances of six pieces of child nodes are calculated for respective plural continuous recognition elements, and these twenty-six pieces of distances are stored temporarily at every frame by a distance storage means 30. Then, the distances of plural standard elements are read out successively to be accumulated, and plural distances of the standard data are calculated. |
