Several partial discharge measuring probes (4, 5, 6) which detect electromagnetic signals from partial discharges are provided in a high-voltage installation. The corresponding measuring data is fed into an evaluation device (10) with a neuronal network (12), which is trained to determine the origin of the partial discharge on the basis of measurement data from two sensors.
