Advanced velocity control system

The Advanced Velocity Controls System (AVECS) reduces the need to operate the accelerator control by allowing the driver to select different modes of driving. A graphic display (3) enables the driver to select between three main modes; constant speed, optimum torque and optimum fuel economy. The control system can be used to program driver dedicated driving modes by storing the special programmes on a chip card. This data can be overwritten as required.
