摘要

Removal of metal ions from dilute aqueous solutions comprises allowing the solution to run into one side of a rolled flexible carrier and removing it on the other side. At least one side of the carrier has a swellable hydrophilic coating containing spacer particles and metal ion complexing agent(s) in immobile form.
