PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier-phase relative position measuring instrument which can output measured results in an early stage when the instrument makes relative position measurement based on the carrier phase of a signal transmitted from a geodetic satellite by shortening the initialization performed for deciding an integer bias. SOLUTION: A carrier-phase relative position measuring instrument sets the intersections between carrier phase position lines P1-B with P2-B as candidate positions and finds the residues from carrier phase position lines S1-b at each candidate position. At the same time, the instrument extracts the candidate positions at which the residues did not exceed, for example, a 1/5 cycle over a prescribed period of time and uses the average value of the positions as a position measured value. In addition, the instrument decides a correct candidate position by comparing the residual pattern of the candidate positions left as a result of the screening with the residual pattern of the candidate positions by simulation. |
