PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and device for detecting the line of sight by which a precise eyeball's rotational angle is calculated regardlessly of the distance between an observer's eyeball and the light-of-sight detecting device. SOLUTION: The observer's eyeball is illuminated by an illuminator having at least two light sources, and an eyeball image 140 is formed on a photoelectric conversion element, and an interval Pdist between cornea reflection images 35a, 35b of respective light sources formed in the eyeball image 40 is calculated, and the eyeball's rotational speed is calculated based on the calculated interval Pdist, a beforehand obtained reference interval value between the cornea reflection images each other and a reference image magnification when the eyeball image is formed. Thus, the line of sight is detected precisely even when the position of the eyeball is changed. |
