<p>A manifold (10) for mounting in the domed end cap (15) of an air reserve tank (12) for a truck or the like, having a body (20) which has a central inlet opening (25) in communication with an opening (22) formed in domed end cap (15). Manifold (10) provides a plurality of outlet passages (44) which are in communication with the central inlet opening (25). Outlet passages (44) may be provided with push-to-connect tube or hose fittings (45), inlet check valves, pressure relief valves (60) or the like by which manifold (10) provides multiple air line connections to a common tank (12). Embodiments of manifold (10, 10') are shown as applied to metal and composite tanks (12, 100).</p> |
