FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: expanding clutch includes drive clutch member made in form of several pairs of disks reliably fitted on shaft and driven clutch member having drum, several rings with guides fitted this drum in off-center position for radial motion. Clutch includes several magnets fitted for engagement with rings. Disks of drive clutch member are provided with slots where plungers are mounted. Plungers may act on respective ring of driven clutch member under action of centrifugal force. Cavity of drum is filled with antifriction material. slots in disks of drive clutch member have tangential direction at mirror image for each pair of disks. Each plunger is made in form of place with cylindrical bar. Plungers are so positioned that two edges of plunger plate are received by slots of respective pair of disks of drive clutch member. During operation of clutch, rings of driven clutch member are held by magnet at speed not exceeding preset magnitude. EFFECT: simplified construction; enhanced reliability and durability; increased loading capacity; possibility of automatic operation depending on preset revolution of drive clutch member. 5 cl, 5 dwg
