FIELD: automatization of rolling processes, possibly automatic tuning of stand speeds according to predetermined strip tension and loop value between stands of continuous wide-strip hot rolling mill. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes in addition summing unit and analog memory unit. One information input of summing unit is connected with output of loop controller, its other information input - with output of analog memory unit. Information input of analog memory unit is connected with output of summing unit. Control inputs of summing unit and analog memory unit are connected with outputs of control unit. EFFECT: lowered number of emergency cases caused by excess loop of metal strip at guiding strip between stands, less loss of yield due to minimization of width difference of strip. 3 dwg
