FIELD: equipment for heat treatment of metals and alloys, possibly recrystallization and spheroidizing annealing, quenching from intercrystallite temperature range sized steel used for manufacture of high strength fastening members by cold forging without finish heat treatment. SUBSTANCE: plant for spheroidizing annealing and quenching sized steel in coils in one line includes quenching apparatus in the form of one-section sprayer. Plant is also provided with unit for slow cooling in the form of cylindrical lined chamber with possibility of artificial heating and temperature control. In order to provide finely dispersed structure and to enhance consumer's properties plant includes deformation unit having die and straightening-pushing apparatus. In order to provide idle-free operation of plant there is winding apparatus having unit for forming turns and double-position carrousel. Two winding drums are arranged on turntable of double-position carrousel. Rotation drive of winding drum has device for synchronizing rotation speed at winding and feed rate of steel. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of plant, improved operational characteristics, high quality of heat treated steel. 2 dwg
