The steering arrangement has a hand operated control element, a positioning system for the steered wheels with a control path contg. a demand generator and actual value sensor and a hand force controller simulating the steering forces. A shaft (11) connecting the control element and hand force controller has parts (11',11'') rotatable relative to each other against elastic resistance. An actual hand force value is generated from the degree and direction of their relative rotation.
