Disclosed herein is a cationic electrodeposition coating composition containing a cationic amine-modified epoxy resin (A) obtained by cationizing an amine-modified epoxy resin prepared by the reaction of amine with an epoxy resin which is obtained by the reaction of at least one dicarboxylic acid having a molecular weight of 90-200 with at least one diglycidyl ether of dihydric phenol.
