PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-tight seal device for neutron detector having good sealing and high reliability. SOLUTION: This air-tight seal device is provided with an insulation connection member 2 consisting of insulator formed by a penetration hole 6 wherein a cable 10 of neutron detector penetrates inside and a pipe shape metal members 4 and 5 coupled and connected to the end of each of the insulation members The fitting surfaces 2a and 2b of the insulation connection members are made of tapered surfaces inclining to the axis line direction of the penetration hole 6.
