PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source control device capable of making its size small, reducing cost, and enhancing reliability. SOLUTION: In step S201, a fluorescent lamp lighting signal is detected, in step S202, the setting state of PWM(pulse width modulation) is fixed (in a latch state) in the state where the fluorescent lamp is not yet lit with a PWM 1 latch circuit, in step S203, the latch state is controlled. In step S204, when a resonance state is a fluorescent lamp no-lighting state (a resonance state detecting signal absent state), the latch state is kept and when the resonance state is a fluorescent lamp lighting state (a resonance state detecting signal present state), the latch state is released and normal control is conducted. |
