Fuel injection system for internal combustion engine
摘要
The fuel injection system has a control which generates reference pulses of set width to which the fuel injection pulses and the air inlet pulses are matched. The computed fuel injection pulses are retarded and the air input pulses are enhanced to match the two for an optimum burn with maximum efficiency. The required fuel/air ratio and the amounts of fuel/air are determined by the dynamics of the engine and the control settings. Monitors measure the air flow into the engine and the length and volume of the fuel pulses.
