The setting-up method uses a control processor receiving actual values for the individual functions of the book binding machine, used for calculation of the required settings for each stage of the book binding machine in conjunction with stored values for the material characteristics, material size, operating rate, temperature, humidity and product quality constraints, with corresponding automatic adjustment of the setting elements.
