The chain tensioning gear (7) fronts the tensioning gear (4) and has both fast and slow switching stages. The manually switched (10) gear (7) housing is releasably coupled to the tension gear housing and contains two shafts (11,12) for dissimilar diameter gears (13-16) with the gear output shaft (12) designed as switching gears. Gear (7) with mounted electric motor (8) and control (9) are arranged parallel to the electric haulage motor (1) on the tension gear (4) housing, and the shaft (11) coupled to the hydraulic motor (8) is further to one side of the motor (1) than the cutout shaft (12) couple to the tension gear (4). A gear (7) and its housing can be connected at various angles of turn relative shaft (11) axis on the input side of gear (4) and/or the hydraulic motor (8) and its control (9) can be connected to gear (7) housing at various angles. The connection between gears (7) and (4) and that between motor (8) and control (9) to the gear (7) are made of 10 to 20 pitched screwed flange joins.
