Thermal insulation for oven

An aluminium foil thermal insulation (1) is wrapped around an oven with the butting edges (K1,K2) locked together by tags (2) on one edge locating into slits (5) in the other edge. The edges of the tags are recessed (4) to give the tags flexibility and the noses of the tags are pointed or profiled. The tags can be bent over after passing through the slits to form spacers to position the aluminium foil away from the outer wall of the oven.
