The arm muscles used when pushing forwards with the ski sticks are exercised and built up using a device comprising two door straps attached to opposite ends of an expander, separated by a distance of 50 cm, which is equivalent to the width distance between the ski sticks. The straps are wedged between the door leaf and frame and each strap has a ski stick handle attached to the opposite end to the expander.
