GEAR MEASURING VOLUMETRIC FLOW RATE OF FLUID IN NONRAMMING CONDUIT

FIELD: instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: gear includes meter of fluid speed, meter of fluid level in open conduit, computer and indicator. Outputs of meter of fluid speed and meter of fluid level are connected to proper inputs of computer which output is linked to input of indicator. Meter of fluid speed is manufactured in the form of active location transducer and includes piezoceramic radiator and piezoceramic radiation detector and is fitted with unit controlling radiation pattern made fast to gear case. Meter of fluid level has piezoceramic transducer. Owing to this design measurement of volumetric flow rate of fluid is carried out without submersion of meters into examined medium which enhances reliability and prolongs service life of gear.
