Conveyor belt with tension wire suspension from widely spaced masts

The conveyor belt is made of a flexible band which may be rolled up into a tube (4) carrying granular material at a considerable height above the ground. Rollers at intervals along this belt support the tube. The empty return run (5) of the belt forms an inverted U-shape supported by further rollers. The rollers are supported by bearings held in frames suspended from tension wires (3). The wires pass over widely spaced support masts.
